About the Exams
TEF Canada (Test d’Évaluation de Français) and TCF Canada (Test de Connaissance du Français) are the two official French language exams accepted by IRCC (Canada) and Québec for PR, work permits, and immigration programs.
Both exams test your skills in:
- Listening (Compréhension Orale)
- Reading (Compréhension Écrite)
- Speaking (Expression Orale)
- Writing (Expression Écrite)
These exams determine your CLB/NCLC level, which directly impacts your CRS score for Express Entry.
