Hi, I’m Shivani Singh Vimal, a French trainer who teaches with heart, clarity, and real connection.
No stress. No pressure. Just pure learning, one conversation at a time. I didn’t learn French to collect certificates. I learned it because the language felt like home. And today, I help students feel the same way confident, expressive, and ready to speak French naturally.

Alongside teaching, I am also pursuing a Master’s degree in French from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), because I strongly believe that learning never stops. As a teacher, it is important for me to keep growing, deepen my understanding of the language, and stay connected to advanced academic and cultural aspects of French. This continuous learning helps me guide my students with more clarity and confidence.
My Journey (Why I Teach the Way I Do)
My teaching journey began during my university years, when I started working part-time as a French trainer with Multibhashi. Teaching alongside my studies helped me understand students closely their fears, their confusion, and what they truly need to feel confident in a new language.
In my final year, I was selected at Amazon as a French Language Expert. Out of 60 students, only 10 were selected, and I was among the top candidates. It was a proud moment, a good salary, a stable job, and a sense of achievement for me and my family.
Everything looked perfect from the outside. But while working in the corporate environment, I slowly realized that something was missing. Professionally I was doing well, but personally I felt disconnected. After a lot of reflection, I understood that the corporate world was not aligned with who I truly was.
On 30 June 2023, I made the difficult but honest decision to leave my job and return fully to teaching to follow what felt right, not what only looked right.
Learning, Unlearning, and Rebuilding
After leaving the corporate sector, I didn’t rush. I worked with institutes, observed different classrooms, and studied teaching methods deeply. I wanted to understand not just what to teach, but how to teach in a way that truly helps learners.
During this phase, I met Martin, a native French teacher. His teaching philosophy was very different from what we usually experience in India calm, natural, and focused on communication rather than pressure. That interaction changed my perspective completely.
To strengthen my foundation, I made a conscious decision to restart my own learning journey, revisiting French step by step from A1 to B2, this time with a deeper awareness both as a learner and as a teacher. This helped me truly understand where students struggle and how concepts should be introduced gently. I am currently pursuing C1, because I believe a good teacher never stops learning.
Today, my teaching is shaped by experience, reflection, and continuous growth. I teach French with patience, clarity, and respect for each learner’s pace. I teach French not because I left something behind, but because I consciously chose a path that truly aligns with who I am.
